a bum's life

grabe, noong mga nakaraang araw ang hirap bumangon sa kama... sobrang sarap ng humiga sa kama, bumaluktot sa kumot, at ibaon ang mukha sa unan... ok sana kung laging ganito ang weather, 'yun bang ang pinaka bagyo na e iyong ambon... malakas na hangin, kulimlim na ulap...

hindi ko na-enjoy 'yung mga suspensions noong nakaraan dahil hindi na kmi kasama dun e... hehe... kaya sa tuwing gumugising ako sa umaga e lagi akong naka slow-mo... ang hirap din ng byahe pauwi kaya 'pag dating ko, parang ginulpi ako... aun knock out agad...

mabuti na lang at naimbento ang weekends, nakabawi-bawi din ako kahit papano... tpos long weekend pa, wow naman!! hehe... sana lang hindi brownout... ^^

heavy hands

have you ever experienced a day where time seems to move extra slow? where 30 minutes seems like an eternity... where the clock's hand just won't move... i hate those kind of days, because those days happen when you least want them to... when you're stuck in a boring seminar, when you're at work and you've got nothing to and your off time is 9pm, that really sucks...

rush hour 3

we just saw the latest installment in the rush hour series... and i got to say, it was hilarious... chris tucker was great, and his tandem with jackie chan is, in my opinion, one of the best cop tandem since mel gibson and danny glover in lethal weapon.

rush hour 3 was set in paris... as usual, a lot of crazy stunts, the things you would expect from any jackie chan film... and chris tucker was just drop dead funny... living to his title as the fastest mouth in the west... one of my favorite scenes was lee and carter's "the closer i get to you" scene, and the scene where lee and carter tortures the triad member:

carter: what'd he say?!

lee: i think he's speaking french...

carter: *slaps triad member* you're asian! stop humiliating yourself!!

not too many bloopers at the end though, but, all in all a great movie quite a god way to spend your 160 bucks after a stressful week...

bt moment

last saturday i experienced something that i haven't experienced in a long time... ang mag-bt...
"bt" is term coined by the i05 students batch 2004 of eac, "bt" stands for "boy tambay"... we define "bt" as sitting at the eac lover's lane or annex bench, sharing stories, picking on each other, watching people pass by, basically doing nothing...

it's been quite some time since my friends and i had a "bt" moment, ever since dota became a craze our "bt" moments just dwindled... the fact that most of us now are interns and some transfered didn't help either... that's why we treasure every "bt" moment...

that day was also great since jep and doc were there with us, even though they are no longer at eac, they are still solid i05s... too bad boc, ang pambansang bespren, was not... it's also cool that the weather cooperated, not too hot, not raining, strong winds, ahhh... just the way we like it...

some people might think that what we do, or the lack of it for that matter, is just a waste of time... well, maybe it is... but to us, it's not about what you do, it's about the people you do it with...

the oratio imperata effect

nitong nakaraang mga araw ang daming nagrereklamo tungkol sa tag-tuyot, sa pag baba ng water sa dams... dahil sa walang dumadating na ulan... pati cbcp naki sali, may pinauso pa silang prayer for rain...

ayan! you asked for it!! for the past days, ang tindi ng ulan... sana naman matuwa na ung mga nagrereklamo ano... sana rin 'wag bagyo... yung tamang ulan lang... 'wag yung tipong billboard wrecking, mud sliding, raging flood type of rain...

pero ang totoo talaga, i hate the rain... noong bata siguro ako ok s'ya kasi pag malakas ang ulan, ibig sabihin, walang pasok at makakaligo ako sa ulan at baha... pero ngyon, bwisit na s'ya... hindi ka makapasyal dahil nakakaasiwang mabasa... kung magfi-feeling bata naman at maisipang malaro sa baha, leptospirosis ang aabutin... idagdag mo pa ang 'di inaasahang pagkadulas, tapilok, o pag kasira ng payong...

on the other hand, kung nasa bahay ka lang o kasama mo ang girlfriend, jowa, misis, crush, o pinagnanasaan mo, patok na patok sa iyo ang rainy days... romantic ang trip, at lumalabas ang kabaduyan ng iba... hehe... just the thought of being stranded in some place with someone you like, love, desire, fantasize is enough for you say, "god i love the rain"

anyway, kanya kanyang trip lang naman 'yan... hehe...

monday sickness

monday nanaman... balik sa internship site... balik project n ulit. ewan ko ba kung bakit kapag monday palaaaaaagi akong tinatamad... nakakainis, gusto mong maging productive pero merong "unseen force" na pumipigil sa bawat kilos ko... kelan ba maaalis ang sumpang ito sa amin... buti na lang tuesday na bukas...

ouija

"andyan na siyaaahhh....."
my girlfirend and i just watched the latest pinoy horror flick to hit the cinemas, ouija...

ayus na film din, when i saw the movie trailer before, naisip ko, naku baka pinaghalu-halong asian horror lang yan, at totoo nga!! pero surprisingly, kahit na mejo pirated yung ibang scenes, overall ok pala siya, daming nakakatakot at nakakakilabot moments... sa gateway kami nanood ng girlfriend ko kaya sabi ko sa sarili ko, dapat matakot ako para 'di sayang ang bayad ko... hehe... buti na lang ouija delivered...

the story of ouija revolves around 4 cousins and the events that surround them after releasing the spirit from the ouija board... daming sacry and freaky scenes... ok din ung twist sa story, medyo old-school pero patok pa rin... at ang pagkuha kay Anita Linda bilang Lola adds extra freakyness to the film... astig din ung underwater cemetery na finiture sa ouija, pucha kakatakot siguro sumisid dun ouro puntod sa ilalim ng dagat... scary din yung bahay ng lola nila, ayoko ng ganung bahay, siraulo lang ang magtatagal sa ganung setup na bahay... hehe...

wala kong maisip sa acting nung mga artista e, scary kasi yung spirit kaya 'di na masyado pansin yung acting... sabi ng girlfriend ko pangit daw acting ni rhian ramos, buti na lang maganda siya... hehe... astigin din yung film, cinema-worthy, a lot better than its predecessors IMO...
